Bah I think PSX Extreme are blowing things way out of proportion with that EDGE review.
Sure the review wasn't exactly Shakespeare, it missed out a few points, but at the end of the day it is someone eles opinion.
Also since when has a 7/10 been a "bad" score? I'd say it would be a "Good" or "Very Good"
I tend to get annoyed when sites give games 9's or 10's these days, because all they seem to do is gush over games and not p...
Funny you should say that, technically for Sega Nerds it is a 6/5.
If you look at their ranking system you get 5/5 and then for the extra special games they get a "Seal of Quality" thing - which they gave to Valkyria.
But I marked it as 5/5 as not to confuse people here.

They don't give high scores to all the games. They are pretty fair.
Several things seem rather dubious about this new piece of hardware.
1 - Why would Sega choose to release the first news about a new piece of hardware on a random tech site, when the Tokyo Game show is in just a few weeks? (According to the source Sega contacted them with the news).
2 - Apparently the device is supposed to be about the same size as a credit card face on. Take out a credit card and then try to imagine a screen and buttons on it. I'd say it would ...
I don't doubt that SEGA is just renewing the patents.
But it is interesting to see that they have the patent for motion sensing controllers that are very similar to that of the PS3 controller abilities - long before the PS3 was even conceived in Sony's mind.
In fact one of the controller designs looks just like the PS3's original "boomerang" designs.
And if SEGA does have the patent for motion sensing controllers - what does that mean for Sony/Nintend...
